Home cleaning should not be just a twice a week thing. As much as you can, try to keep the house clean on a regular basis. This is not to say that you should be sweeping, dusting and vacuuming every single day!.

You can actually keep the house clean everyday without having to lift a finger. Here are some of the ways you can do this.

Mats

Mats help in keeping the floor clean. Place one outside your main door and ask people who are entering your house to either remove their shoes completely or use the rugs to keep their soles clean. That way, the dirt and grime from the outside will be minimized.

This is especially true if you have a small baby in your family home. Babies do not know yet what they are holding and eating and they can be especially vulnerable to dirty floors!.

Additionally mats also help absorb water, which in turn will help keep the floors both dry and clean. This is the reason why mats are used for the bathroom.

Besides making sure that people will not be slipping on the slipperyfloors, it keeps shoes and slippers dry, thus preventing the wetness from the bathroom to be transferred to the bedroom.

Cabinets

Another great way to camouflage clutter is through the use of cabinets and drawers. Assign each drawer or cabinet to specific items.

For instance, all cutlery and utensils go to one drawer while the other will contain table clothes. This way, you will be more organized with your things.

Having a specific place where you can place materials will help you prevent cluttering.

Dehumidifier

This is a wonderful product that will help keep the molds and fungus at bay. This is especially true if your house is very humid.

Cabinets and closets are breeding grounds of these microbes and they can be really dirty and grimy when not cleaned regularly.Dehumidifiers absorb the wetness in the air and prevent their formation.

Sunlight

Whether you believe it or not, sunlight can kill bacteria and microbes in the house. In fact, if you have rugs that you have not aired out or materials that have been kept for a long time, one way to make sure that they are clean is to air them out and put them under direct sunlight.

Trashcans

This is perhaps the most obvious way to keep your house clean. With trashcans strategically placed in different areas in the house, you can make sure that house cleaning will be easier. You have easy access to where you are going to put the trash.
