HAVE YOUR WICKER WAY

QWHAT’S the best way to do up a pair of Lloyd loom-style

chairs we bought from a boot fare? The wicker is already clogged up with

paint.

AWHATEVER you do, don”t brush on any more paint as this

will clog up the weave even more.

Stripping with a chemical stripper tends to make the paper cord go

fuzzy, so the only answer is to apply a light spray coat.

Take the chairs outside on a still day and give them a couple of

light coats.

You will have to start with a spray primer if they are a dark

colour.

Plasti-kote sells 24 shades at around pounds 5.99 for a 400ml can.
