Your bedroom is a castle not a hotel. This means when it comes to house cleaning, there is no housekeeping that will knock on your door and fix the place up so it looks good as new when you get home.
You will have to do it yourself and here are a few things you should know how to do.
The first thing you have to do is make the bed. For that, you have to take off all the bedding and rotate your mattress.
Doing this increases the lifespan of your bed and once you flip it over, get some new bedding and then cover the mattress. You should change your pillow covers and then arrange them in a way that looks presentable before you cover it up with the comforter.
If you are like most people who go through their shirts before picking what they want to wear, chances are your cabinet is already cluttered. To fix it, you have to fold or hang them nicely before putting these back into the cabinet.
Should you have some clothes which you have not worn in a long time, put it on and see if it still fits. If it doesn’t, give it away to charity as long as it can still be worn.
As for your dirty clothes, put these all into the laundry basket. When you are finished, close the cabinet behind you and make sure nothing is sticking out.
We all know that there is a limit to what we can put on our shelves. If you haven’t checked it for quite awhile, now is the best time to do it so only the things you need are within your reach.
As for the times you don’t need, pack this away in a cabinet or give this away to charity. That way, you don’t accumulate that much junk in the room or in your own home.
The last thing we have to do is throw out the garbage. Yes, we all accumulate trash and it is not going to go away unless we throw it out of the house.
Make sure biodegradable and non-biodegradable are grouped together so we our share to protect the environment.
House cleaning is a chore that everyone has to get used to because we have to clean as we go. It was you who messed the place up so you can’t blame anyone except yourself.
