by Scarlett
(Houston, Texas)

There is nothing like being outdoors and while some can stay outdoors all day long, others cannot. However, there is no reason to be sad about not being able to be outdoors, bring the outdoors inside.

There are five ways that you can add natural beauty to your home and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

What colors calm you down and relax you? Everyone is different when it comes to colors and how they react on the person. Each room can have a certain mood, attitude, sensitivity, and spirit. Everyone decorates their home according to the colors that they like the most.

For example, when you are feeling discouraged, you may have a room in your house that you can go into and immediately feel inspired, happy, or motivated. If you are stressed out, you have a room in your home that will calm you down and make you feel relaxed.

See The Decor In Your Kitchen

In your kitchen, you want to add a fresh basket of ripe fruit. Not only are they beautiful colors but they also have a fragrance and you can eat them anytime you want.

Fruit is a great nutritious snack and will make your counter tops very colorful. Find a clear short round vase and place your tea bags or hot chocolate packs in it. Tea bags are usually colored and can add just the right touch to the other counter.

Canning jars can be filled with nuts, granola, or dehydrated fruit and set on the counter to look at. You can add a few sugar cookies to a jar as well.

See The Decor In Your Living Room

You will want to see a lot of greenery in your decor. Find plants that are easy to take care of or are artificial. Add color in your throw pillows, artwork, or your curtains. Let the sunshine in the room as much as possible.

Frame a postcard of all the many places you have traveled in a colorful matted frame. Add plenty of mirrors in the busiest rooms of the house, for example, the living room or dining room.

Hear The Sounds Of Decor

In your living room, you will want to add a water fountain in the corner. The sound of water trickling down the rocks is a sound of relaxation. At night, light up the fire in the fireplace and listen.

Cuddle up on the sofa while the fire sings you a song. Wind chimes sound good no matter what room you are in. Place a set of wind chimes in the corner of the room.

Feel The Decor

Everyone loves the feel of silk, Egyptian cotton, and faux fur. You can add these materials to your living room, dining room, or bedroom. Stimulate your touch by feeling these simple materials in your room.

Place sisal rugs or seagrass rugs down on the floor. When you step on these rugs, they will stimulate your sense of touch. You can also place a stone sculpture in the living room.

Smell The Scents

Everyone can respond to smells. To this day, you can probably smell something that reminds you of your childhood. Maybe it is a particular Christmas fragrance or a spring flower. You need to incorporate a sense of smell into your design. Incense is popular for a burst of fragrance.

Bake a pie and set it on the counter. You can place scented candles by the sofa can be very important to your senses. Make lavender sachets that can provide a light scent of lavender in the bedroom. In the bathroom, you can add bath beads in an open vase or the fresh scent of clean linens
