Radiant flooring is one of the more effective ways that you can keep your self warm during the cold seasons. However, there still are many people that have little and insufficient knowledge on how radiant heat works.

Frequently Asked Question number one: When is using radiant heat ideal?

It is a well known fact that there are different heat that are made for different functions. And there are also different factors that will be effected.

Two of these factors are the number of people and the size of the area that will be heated.

Radiant heaters are ideal when there are one to three people inside the room. This is because radiant heaters take little time to achieve your desired temperature.

Also, because of radiant heaters distribute heat from the floor and into the surroundings, you can easily feel the warmth from your feet.

Another thing to consider would be the size of the space that you want to heat. The higher the ceiling of the home or office, the harder it is to heat up.

Also keep in mind that since, heaters can only go up to one thousand five hundred watts, the maximum space that you can heat effectively is 150 square feet.

Frequently Asked Question number two: Can you use radiant heaters when you have allergies or other respiratory problems?

Of course you can use radiant heaters even if you have an allergy or other respiratory ailments. You need to understand that radiant heaters are not fan assisted.

That means that they will not conjure up dust and other allergens in the air when they are in use.

Frequently Asked Question number three: How about safety? What can you advice owners?

The first thing that you need to know is to only buy UL listed heaters. If they are not UL listed then might as well not bother with them anymore.

Materials that are UL listed are materials that are compliant with certain market tests and quality control. Also, you may want to read the product's safety instructions before you go about and using them.

At least make sure you take note of certain things that you user manual indicates. Remember not keep in mind all the warnings that they have in that manual so that you will have no trouble when you use the item.
