There are many stay at home moms who become confused as they search for job opportunities. Most work from home moms end up finding more information on business opportunities than they do job opportunities. Business opportunities involve a lot of hoops, time, effort, and money in order to make an income.

Work from home moms end up becoming frustrated, and give up while believing that all work from home jobs are a scam. This is not usually the case. Learning to distinguish between the two will help them make the right decisions during their job search.

Business Opportunities:

A business opportunity is more like a franchise. A person who is looking for a start-up business that they can manage and run on their own, is looking for a business opportunity and not a job opportunity.

Entrepreneurs who started E-bay, Amazon, DVD Now, and Net Flicks are just a few examples of a business opportunity. All of these businesses required a lot of time, knowledge, and money to build them up to the empires that they are now. These are the best opportunities because they can help people to become millionaires if the business is a successful one. But each person who started their own franchise, had to work long and hard hours to make it succeed.

There are many businesses and affiliate marketing opportunities that will never succeed and will end up taking people for a lot of money. There are also a lot of business and affiliate marketing opportunities that have a lot of promise, such as Pre-paid Legal. This is a company that is still rising to the top. The success of this business still remains to be seen, but some people have seen the value in it, and are generating a healthy income.

Job Opportunities:

A job opportunity is a job where someone is hired to perform certain tasks that will allow them to be paid on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Most people are looking for job opportunities because they are in need of money right away. Mothers who are deciding to stay at home with their children and are looking to work from home, are looking forjob opportunities. Most jobs will involve freelancing because mostonline jobs do not take out taxes like a regular outside of the home jobs would.

They would be called freelancers or independent contractors. Job opportunities involve jobs, such as freelance writing, blogging, virtual assistants, editors, and transcription. Most of these jobs pay by the word, audio tape, or hourly.
